Christmas performances (36,863) by Lee from UK Mariah's performances at the Rockefeller Centre this year were amazing. I absolutely loved the way she sang Christmas Time Is In The Air Again. I can't believe how good she sounded during AIWFC as well. For years, I have been waiting for this kind of vocal performance from Mariah. I love the way Christmas Time Is In The Air Again sounds similar to the Jazz songs Mariah spontaneously sang at the Jazz club. This makes me more confident for any future performances on American Idol. Mariah still has it and it makes me so happy. (Friday 30 November 2012; 0:09)

Mariah's "upper layer" (36,862) by Will from England I'm sorry, I can't help but roll around with laughter as to how media outlets are writing/reporting about her assests. It's just too funny for words. The two articles for today left me in hysterics. It's clear that even the media aren't taking them too seriously and just having fun by finding ways to bring those two up at any point. On another note, is it just me or are they (somehow) bigger? People who say to Mariah to cover up: she'll decide when to cover up in her own time, because clearly no matter the weather, she'll have them there for everyone to talk about. I don't have "Miss You Most" yet, but maybe one day. I agree this site is awesome for collectors to use as a guide. I appreciate all the time and effort that has been put into it. Generally, I just love all the cover art from Merry Christmas. I think the photos are just the right blend of softness, innocence, playfulness, and sexiness. The perfect example of "less is more". Two great performances (36,858) by Edward from USA I'm so happy to watch such great performances at the Rockefeller Center in New York. I haven't seeing Mariah sing this great in years. Her voice didn't crack at any time, or she didn't have to go to her whispery voice to mask her inability to hit a certain note, it was just great, and she seems to be having a good time with such confidence. I even went back to watch when she sang AIWFCIY in Disney in 2004, and this performance was as great. I assume her voice is in good shape, because she's recording a lot. This is the Mariah I want to see, she doesn't have to belt it all the time, just a great performance to remind us she's still here. (Thursday 29 November 2012; 14:53)

I think it's so cool that MC has something to promote every year with her Christmas music. Is she doing SNL on Christmas? If so, that would be a good look. Mariah's cleavage / Deedre (36,853) by Stacey from USA Maybe it's the girl in me, but I don't care for her cleavage. You don't have to give away the farm to look sexy. With that being said, of course the media is going to focus on the "girls". MC gives them every opportunity. The media has never been on Mariah's side, yet when she dresses like this, she only adds fuel to the fire. Honestly, I wonder what the comments would have been had she covered up a bit. Maybe they would focus on the music for once. Who knows? Anyways, I am just glad she is promoting "Christmas time is in the air again" this season. It's an amazing song that deserves to be singled out. Deedre, I loved the cover art, etc from O Holy Night. You know there are two versions, right? Check out Eric's discography here. Very well done. I used it as a guide when I collected a long time ago. I remember when I got my first copy of UTS. I felt the same way. Enjoy it. I love her Christmas promos. Miss You Most was a hard one to let go of. I do have the rare version from that promo on mp3 if you ever want me to send it to you. It's a bit more Rn'B-ish than the version we're all familiar with. Unfortunately, boobs or not, the press are always gonna comment on a "female" singer's outfit, no matter how good the music is. As for the performances, she sounded fantastic, especially CIITAA. What a beautiful live performance (36,850) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada I absolutely loved the live version of CTIITAA. So lovely. Mariah's Christmas music pretty much makes the season for me. I would love it if they could put the live version on the single. Does anyone have any info on the re-release of MC II You? Is there anything new included? And to top off this great performance, after years of trying I finally got a copy of The O Holy Night promo CD. Christmas time is in the air again (36,848) by Stacey from USA I am thrilled this song is being promoted as a single. I absolutely love it. For an album that falls flat to me, this song is an absolute gem. I don't mind the soft vocals because when the song hits the climax, MC hits that amazing note. Combine that with the stellar arrangement, and this song is just perfect. Her performance was amazing too. You can tell she sung it live because some of the notes were a bit flat/sharp in some spots. Not criticizing her at all. No, no, no. Just saying it's live, since many of us, me included, have gotten after MC for lipping too much sometimes. Christmas Time Is In The Air Again / Christmas playlist (36,843) by Chase from USA This is one of my favorite songs on MCIIY. I hope it is successful as a single. I worked retail last year and occasionally heard this song at the mall. I made a playlist that combines both of Mariah's Christmas albums, and I was impressed by how well they mix together. Don't get me started on Christmas Time Is In The Air Again, that was a flawless performance and she didn't lip. She went for the big note, she hit the note, and she held it. Re: Paul/ Morocco (36,840) by enwar00 from usa I watched the Morocco concert a couple months ago and really enjoyed it. I do remember during Underneath The Stars I was like this sounds and felt a little sad, but at least she was singing one of her favorites and something different. I've seen Mariah on every tour that she's brought to the States, and I have to say during Angels Advocate I was impressed with how awesome she sounded, even on older songs like Emotions. The crowd pretty much went nuts. Just my opinion. But I'd have to vote no to the hanging up of the mic. (Wednesday 28 November 2012; 7:33)
