Mariah Carey announces shows at Caesars

Mariah Carey will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for 18 more shows which are scheduled in June, August and September. The 18 new show dates will kick-off the second year of the Las Vegas residency. The dates going on-sale Friday, January 29 at 10 a.m. are as follows:
June: 7, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25
August: 24, 27, 28, 31
September: 3, 4, 7, 10, 11
In addition, tickets can still be purchased to the previously-announced February shows including a performance on Valentine's Day: 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20.
"Mariah #1 To Infinity" embodies the true meaning of Vegas glitz and glamour. Designed exclusively for The Colosseum, the breathtaking production features 18 of Mariah's timeless and beloved Number One Hits performed in chronological order taking fans on a spectacular journey through her life and career in an unforgettable evening.

Since she's staying I hope Mariah ups her Vegas game. Although JLo is not gifted vocally, the woman knows how to put on a show and is a "firecracker" lol. New wardrobe, set designs, dancers, choreography. She needs to add that Vegas extravaganza element to it. Mariah's show looks cheap compared to other divas. A bed and background screen of a mansion for a number? Come on.

At least Mariah and Celine don't need to recruit "friends" to fill the seats. Now that she has a killer body she can wear an outfit inspired by the video I Stay In Love. She can also look for inspiration in old school Hollywood showgirl movies. She can really do a lot of things in Vegas if she just sit down and plan things out. Sometimes I feel she rushes herself into things without much preparation.

While I agree JLo brings a good performance on stage, the headlines from her first show was how there were big celebs in the audience, her headlines from the second show is about how her bodysuit split open because it can't contain that booty. Haha. All things aside, I do wish Mariah switch up her Vegas show a little more. More choreography, better visuals.
