Re: Nick Cannon (65,485) (65,491) by Tevin from USA
Mimi L, I still can't believe Hero is their "go to song". That is just weird. That sounds like sonething R Kelly would listen to with his new 19 year old girl friend. Creapy on so many levels.

Almost Home - love making (65,489) by Edward from USA
I would've envisioned Mariah making love to "Almost Home", the title is more lyrically appropriate. "And then a hero comes along" would be kind of creepy. "I'm almost there, almost home" would be perfect for that. Another song that would definitely go with her love making would be: "River Deep, Mountains very High".

Re: Nick interview (65,460) (65,488) by Licia from USA
I agree that he could be saying alot more and alot worse. I've always agreed that he has a right to say what he wants. When she released Crapfinity and everybody got upset about an alleged diss song he did, he was well within his right to clap back and say whatever. As sir Andrew said it's a little hypocritical to be upset with him for speaking on Mariah when she has done so to him, but I could have lived without knowing Mariah is a freak though. Lol.

The thing is there are so many better songs in her catalog of songs to get funky to lol. Hero would be such a random choice.

Uhm no, Mimi L. Robin Thicke is a hot mess. His voice is trash IMO. I do like his song "Sex Therapy" though, but his struggle falsetto is an embarrassment. LMAO.

Oh good Lord. Andrew, do you have to go and make up dialogues too? Ugh this song is ruined for me now.

Re: Wait... but... seriously? (65,478) (65,484) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It better be on shuffle. The thought of "Hero" playing on a loop while they are getting it on is just horrifying.

Re: Candy Bling (65,471) (65,483) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I think the reason she didn't name it "Back in the day" is because there is not only a song that is of the same title, but Mariah also sampled that song for "Candy Bling". The "back in the day we were in love" part was sampled from Ahmad's "Back in the day", which doesn't have the same lyrics but it has the same melody.

I would like something with Robin Thicke too. Dude maybe shady but at least he can sing.

Re: Nick Cannon (65,474) (65,481) by Andrew from UK
This is priceless. It reads like you (and others) think that Mariah was somehow song-raped by Nick with "Hero"? Lol. Rightio. How do you think that played out? "You like me make you listen to this, don't you, baby?" "Nick, please, no, get off me, turn it off, I find this song schmaltzy and saccharine, don't do this." "Why do you make me do these things, huh? Why can't you be a good girl?" "I'll be good from now on, please, I promise." "Oh no, baby, now *my* Hero really *is* gonna 'come along', know what I'm sayin'?" I'm 100% certain that if Mariah had said she made love to "Hero" some of you would be trying to convince your next partner it was a good idea.

Re: Ribbon B (65,473) (65,480) by Mara from United States
Lenny Kravitz, that would be a cool out of the box collaboration, and Mariah always said she was friends with Lenny. I was watching the Bringin On The Heatbreak video last night and loved the scenes in the maroon dress on stage. I remember seeing her in concert with Charmbracelet and she did a great rendition of BOTH too. Her and Lenny could create a rock type song and they have great chemistry. Stella just went to a Guns N Roses concert last night so maybe they are in a rock mood and she could encourage MC. Stella, even Miska, if you're reading, mention it to MC.

Re: Ribbon B (65,473) (65,479) by Mara from United States
Can I just say Maxwell? Anyone remember the tiny clip of a party with Lee Daniels at someone's apartment in NYC I think and Mariah was singing Happy Birthday to or with Maxwell. My brain is foggy but I swore they were supposed or did collaborate on a song but it never amounted to anything. I need to hear that. He can sing and definitely complement her voice on something. And of course my dream duet will always be George Michael.

Re: Candy Bling (65,471) (65,476) by RibbonB from USA
Maybe, but never "The art of letting go", that song is worse than "Cringefinity". Lol just playing, but really I mean it. Lol. And how can you miss "Lucious" being an abuser in real life lol. There are also allegations that he hit Taraji in the face on set, but they covered it up. Don't mistake slick acting for a gentleman in real life. Dude T.H. is a loser IMO. M.'s nephew commented to someone that he really likes Nick, that he is a nice guy and that he loves Nick's mom. I think he is, he just plays along with a lot of mess, IMO.

Re: Nick Cannon (65,472) (65,475) by RibbonB from USA
Terrance is an admitted spouse abuser and he is back with the last one just had a baby. I think he isn't interested in Mariah. Strahan is with his young blond, again, probably not interested in MC. Plus Strahan is managed by old young Mark, so probably not a good fit. I think M using Nick up, or he wore out before she anticipated. Lol. But they've moved on, I say let them both be great, or at least ok.

Re: Nick Cannon (65,472) (65,474) by George Golden from UK
Exactly he is a waste of space. What a way to disrespect Mariah's signature song. Even if she did want it at the time, that is a very private intimate matter. How did she meet such a classless person like him is just something I can never understand. Next he will tell us what her intimate parts look like. Retard.

Re: Ribbon B (65,470) (65,473) by RibbonB from USA
Hi Giovanni. Pharrell is alright, but I think she could work with a lot better and fresher, or more musically inclined producers at this stage. I think Uncle Charlie is a better crooner than R Kelly. He is the original, Charlie Wilson and as old as he is, he has been having some R&B chart success. Brian McNight has said some shady things about Mariah and I wouldn't expect anything great from a collaboration from those two. Sam Smith is good and might be a great collaborator. John Legend is good and safe and they are friends so that helps with her. She likes to work with friends. There is a lot of great talent out there. I almost wish she would let someone really orchestrate things for her, that she would work this next project like a 9 to 5, totally professional, no stunts, real instruments. I still say Brittany Howard would also be a good Mariah collaborator too with some good raw southern soul. She needs quality, but unexpected and fun stuff.

Nick Cannon (65,472) by Giovanni from USA
Is trying to stay relevant by using Mariah's name. It's sad. He needs to realize that nobody really cares for him. Other then that Amber Rose. Who is the epitome of t****. I'll never know what Mariah saw in him. He's goofy, immature and has no class. She would have been better off with a real man like Terrance Howard or Michael Strahan. Both handle themselves with class, are decent looking and seem like they know how to respect and treat a woman. The only good situation that came from Mariah and Nick's relationship was Roc and Roe.

Candy Bling (65,471) by Giovanni from USA
I also love "Candy Bling". It's sexy and flows well really nice. I think Mariah should have named it "Back in the day". Sounds a lot better. However "Touch my body" is really below her level of songwriting and artistry. Why it made it to number one I'll never know. But good for Mariah. If "Touch my body" was a hit song surely she can have more. "Beautiful", "The art of letting go", "Make it look good", "You don't know what to do" all could have been hit songs. I think now where Mariah is in her career she needs strong and powerful lyrics in order for people to want to buy her music. I would love to see her performing a new hit song at the Grammys.

Ribbon B (65,470) by Giovanni from USA
I never said Pharell was this great songwriter, but the man knows how to come out with a good beat. "Say something" is pretty decent. I imagine Mariah coming out with a song like "Happy" or "Time of your life". I am also hoping for something big. R. Kelly may be irrelevant but he can sing. I can't think of any male singers who can really sing much less riff and run. If there are some I don't know them. It's been long over due for a collaboration. But at this point I'd say it's probably never going to happen. Mariah needs a nice ballad with John Legend, Sam Smith or Brian McKnight. Brian is also irrelevant but at least he could give us a classic Mariah song like "One sweet day" or "Thank God I found you". I want an album that's memorable and epic. And hopefully Mariah serves us with a good album title and cover this time.

Nick (65,469) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Nick needs to know when to keep things to himself regarding he and Mariah's personal life together. Also who knows who came up with the idea to have intimate relations to Hero it could have been a fantasy of Nick's to have intimate relations with MC with her songs playing in the background but whatever said case it's creepy and weird.

There are so many more. But if they used "Hero" they might as well have just played "When You Believe" (who knows what miracles you can achieve).
