Mariah Carey used a hand model in Walkers ad

She's previously asked for 20 kittens on her rider and refuses to be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses on. But did Mariah Carey bring her "diva" demands tothe shoot for her Walker's crisps Christmas advert?

The singer is making a packet earning £9m from the campaign, where she belts out her classic hit All I Want for Christmas is You. But compared to some of her usual requests, perhaps all Mariah wants (for Christmas) is someone to lend her a hand... quite literally.

While some stars request a body double or someone to pose as their bottom double when filming. Eagle eyed viewers think that the mother of two might have had a hand double in the advert. Radio 5Live's Rachel Burden shared on Twitter "I thought that's definitely a hand actor in that scene - it'll be in her rider."

In the advert, a generous Mariah dishes out gifts including a picture of herself, white doves, a satin robe saying: "I love Christmas. It's a magical time, a time for giving, a time for caring, a time for caring."

But things go wrong when a hungry elf tries to take last bag of Walkers Pigs in Blankets on set. During the scene where her and the elf are fighting over the packet, viewers noticed that the rings on her fingers disappear during the close-up shots before magically being back on her hand in the wider shots of both of them.

Alternatively it could be a continuity issue as some of the earlier scenes when Mariah is singing at the start of the advert she's not wearing the bling rings either. On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me...one fake hand apparently.
