Re: Skydiving (94,246) (94,251) by T from USA
This is the unmixed version that was done during the Memoirs sessions. First time Mariah and Timbaland worked with each other since she teamed up with [Missy] on [Babydoll]. I think it would've fit perfectly with [Memoirs] to break up but also compliment the Dream songs. Ignore the talking over it and try to focus on the vocals, lyrics and production. It's sublime.

Must see Glitter promo video (94,250) by Edouard from France
Hi everyone, very interesting video about the resurgence of the video uncovers what I believe is a never-before-seen promo video from the Glitter era. It seems to me that the story line of the movie was to be different: no so focus on the making of a star thing, more about the love story, the whitewashing of Billie's music, her choice not to go with the corporate guys, etc. The music on the album also would have been different. Mariah mentions a collaborative effort with Prince. She throws a little shade at Mottola and Lopez, alludes to plagiarism and not wanting to be blamed. Check it out.

Re: 8th Grade (94,243) (94,249) by darrian liu from taiwan
I see it, but I think the title kinda relates to the mindset of the "voice" she's portraying in the song. The lyrics are as if they were written by someone with this indecisive, flimsy, kinda timid mindset, a lil bit like an 8th grader. I think Mariah was trying to harken back to her middle school days with the cig reference too. It might be a little bit of a reach, but it kinda makes sense to me.

There's got to be a way live (94,248) by Manuel from Germany
Mariah did it. She sang a snippet.

8th Grade (94,247) by Jeff from USA
It was my favorite song from Caution when the album came out and it still is today. Mariah at her best.

Skydiving (94,246) by enwar00 from usa
What the heck, I don't know if I've even heard this song. Is it good? What does it sound like? What album was it supposed to be on, E=MC2? Does anyone have a link to post here? I can't find it.

She will never tell what that song is really about. But unearthly for a very sad moment in time.

One of my instant favs on Caution if not my fav. I believe the song is about her relationship with Packer and how it echoed the childish type of relationships you tend to put on a pedestal when you're young, when you're in 8th grade. Genius lyrics.

This is one of the 3 songs from Caution I still listen to. It gets played daily. Everything is on point from the vocals to the production.

The only thing I don't like is that I really don't understand how the lyrics correlate with the title of the song. I believe she tried to explain it in an interview, but I still didn't get it. I t look over that little blip though because it's a great song regardless.

8th grade (94,242) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This song is still a favorite of mine, still enjoying the Caution album as if it was released just recently.

Skydiving is great, but I wish Almost Home made it onto MIAM.

Can I just say how much Mariah struck gold with this song? Ever since Caution's release, it never left my regular playlists on Spotify. The melody is beautiful, Timbaland's production is impeccable, and Mariah's vocal performance is subtle, yet still packs a punch. I love the classic Mariah sound it has infused with lil twists here and there, truly one of Caution's highlights.

MIAMTEC platinum edition (94,237) by T from USA
If only she would've saved Timbaland's produced "Skydiving" for that album (like she did Betcha and It's a Wrap). Imagine this tracklist:

1. Skydiving (ft. Drake)
2. Cry
3. Faded
4. Dedicated (ft. Nas)
5. #Beautiful (ft. Miguel)
6. Make It Look Good
7. You're Mine
8. You Don't Know What To Do
9. Supernatural
10. Meteorite
11. Camouflage
12. The Art Of Letting Go

Not as long as Charmbracelet. Sometimes it feels like that album has a run time clocking in at four weeks.

Re: MIAM (94,231) (94,235) by Tijl from Belgium
TAOLG is one of my all time favourite MC tracks. There is a bite and realness to it that surpasses and outshines the vocal gymnastics of her early years. I like when it Mariah gets real as with "Side Effects" lyrics for example.

Re: MIAM (94,230) (94,231) by The Real Deal from USA
One of my top five favorite Mariah albums of all time. It was actually originally titled The Art Of Letting Go and then changed after the leak of the album's artwork was made, which I believe ended up becoming the single cover art for The Art of Letting Go.

MIAM (94,230) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This album was definitely around a time MC was going through changes her last album on Def Jam, and she was in the process of going through a divorce. Even though I believe she was in the best emotionally she pulled through and created a solid body of work. I believe she should have named the album "The art of letting go" for obvious reasons, and the final track listing should have been 10-12 tracks.

Are you referring to "Super Creepy"? So adorable. MIAMTEC should've been a nice 10-track album.

1. Cry.
2. Dedicated
3. #Beautiful
4. Thirsty
5. Make It Look Good
6. You're Mine (Eternal)
7. You Don't Know What to Do
8. Meteorite
9. Camouflage
10. The Art of Letting Go
