Re: A No No remix fake news (88,178) (88,180) by B from USA
Thanks, Chops. Some here despise me because of my positive outlook but I don't value their opinions. Like Mariah said, "There are people called haters and we give them positivity."

I was blasting Mariah Carey's first single today, "Delusions of Love", and then I played: "I Don't Wanna Chart", it was epic.

I don't know you but I love your positive attitude. Let's go "With You".

Faded had a pretty hard beat. I love blasting that sounds.

With You will slowly but surely become Mariah's 19th #1 and become Mariah's third consecutive Billboard Song of the Decade. Caution will be the biggest selling album of 2019 and the Caution world tour will break attendance records.

Gimme a beat (88,174) by Norman from USA
I wonder why Mariah shies away from hard beats. When I heard "Emotionless" from Drake, where he samples the Emotions intro, it got me wondering why she doesn't drop some beats like that.
Hip hop artists aren't known for being dancers, so why couldn't it work for Mariah? I love the Caution album, but I do wish some of the songs had more of an edge to them.

"With You" is a slow burner. It'll hit #1 very soon in 2039. You're so mean, so mean.

Re: A No No remix fake news (88,169) (88,171) by B from USA
Didn't say it was. All I said was it would be delusional to think it's gotten to where it's at without Epic promoting it.

Re: A No No over (88,159) (88,170) by jaker20 from US
She can't go adult contemporary route, its vocally demanding. Caution is perfect route, clubby and remixes with occasionally good vocals and great beats, mix of mid-tempos and a few ballads here and there. The album is not the problem. The problem is she doesn't know how to promote it. She gives up easily. Videos aren't that expensive to make anymore. Lots of videos blow up because it has a good concept shot on cheap handheld cameras. She needs a good team that is in tune with the current market. Her album cannot go top to bottom adult contemporary or her voice will be completely gone in a few years that even midtempos won't be available to her anymore. She needs to think long term. I know she can still get a hit. The right formula just have to be there. Mariah is an artist not a business woman. No one can do both. Of course she has knowledge in promotion and the business part for sure, but that's not her forte. Ariana Grande isn't blowing up now because of her own effort. Her current single has a dozen writers on it for crying out loud. But that is important. Other artists want to participate in the process and you have to let them, whatever your legend status in the business is. Same with the business part of it.

Epic has promoted and is continuing to promote With You at Adult Contemporary and Adult R&B radio. I'd love to believe the song is doing as well as it is without any promotion but that would be delusional.

Re: Live ad libs (88,162) (88,166) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
Haha. No, I do exactly the same. And when I'm with friends that I feel comfortable with, or with boyfriends I have got I in the past, I always run through the things Mariah says before and between songs. And I have particularly become a master of the things she says in the MSG concert. I always say at out loud when I'm home by myself.

When I went to high school, 1999-2002, just after the Glitter release, which I loved, and since I only became a fan in 1998, I don't think I really understood what down fall Glitter was, so I listened to it without a care in the world, I went on a car trip from Norway to Denmark with my boyfriend's brother. We were going to visit my boyfriend who lived in Denmark at the time. I brought Butterfly, Heartbreaker, #1's, and Glitter with me in the car. The brother is a musical conductor, so he didn't mind, I think he actually enjoyed it, and I sang along to every tune.

The brother said sometime after we had gotten to Denmark that he was impressed that I sang the song exactly like Mariah, haha.

I guess she's a rising star in Great Britain. Maybe Epic and Roc Nation are releasing a version featuring her for the European market. If so it would be a smart move.

I know the 2015 Jamaica concert backwards and front: "Prayed through the night. With you sometimes - didn't I Maryann?"

Re: Live ad libs (88,162) (88,163) by B from USA
No, you're not alone. On a somewhat simikiar note, when I hear Journey's Open Arms I sing it like Mariah sang it. Actually, I do that with every song she's covered, lol.

Live ad libs (88,162) by Bill from the UK
Great to see the Make It Happen performance at MSG get the recognition it so richly deserves. Am I alone in adding Mariah ad libs to songs when listening to the studio versions? For instance does anyone else add in a "if you know it, sing along with me" during the second chorus of Can't Let Go, or a "sing" (exclamation mark) after the "I'll be eternally grateful" in the last verse of Vision of Love? I ask because when Make It Happen begins and the beat starts building up, I always run through Mariah's "reaching for a dream" speech from MSG. Just me? Okay then lol.

A No No over (88,159) by T from USA
Some D-list rapper posted an instagram story in the studio saying they are on the A No No remix. It's another YG (I Don't) moment unfortunately. I would much rather just the album version at this point. Why Mariah? Has your stock fallen this low? Serious thought: I really hope this is the last album/era that she's marketed in the vein of Beyonce. She needs to start going down the Adult Contemporary route. I mean she will be 49 soon, then 50. Time to work with real musicians and make real music again, while you still have your voice.

It's a whole mess and a media distraction right now, especially with news about Trump, Epstein and Acosta playing simultaneously, but almost obscured by faked news.

Lol. Payment with a check and it was back dated. I remember Ryan Locte lied some years back that he was attacked and he got off with no jail time. Mark Geragos is his attorney. So, Jussie will get no jail time, but written off Empire. His career is over. Who is going to ever believe him again and his acting ability?
