Re: Unplugged concert (88,100) (88,105) by Edward from USA
Did you actually know what happened last time she performed in Jamaica? She sounded just like the record.

I'm glad Mariah's team let With You do its thing with Valentine's Day and all. It means we have to wait for A Nono but I believe it's goning be worth the wait.

A No No remix rollout (88,103) by Bobby A from United States
Does anybody else find it odd that A No No will impact radio on March 4 - a Monday? I think that MC and Epic have a special radio promotion planned on that day. We will find out 3 weeks from today.

Re: My All (88,058) (88,102) by Myles from CT, USA
I agree. I see posts on IG all the time with her ad libing like that with people saying. Those clips are not helping any judgement against her lol. I hate the way she sings it now, it doesn't sound good.

Re: Florence 4ever concert (88,094) (88,101) by Gilles from Malta
Ehy I would go to Florence4ever show, it will be an unique experience, if you have the privilege to go don't hesitate. It is like the people who went to see MC performing Christmas songs to St John's Cathedral in New York It did never happen again or MTV Unplugged. Go go for us and share your experience and videos please.

Unplugged concert (88,100) by Dove from United States
Actually, instead of Vegas, I would rather she do the unplugged-type concert somewhere with humid weather. Like Jamaica. MC sounds awesome in Jamaica.

Pictures (88,099) by Dove from United States
There are pictures I really like of Mariah that I would love to own in a magazine. I love how she looks in the pink dress at the AMAs (my avatar pic) because her face looks relaxed and natural. Also one in the redeeming New Year's Eve performance ensemble. All the pictures don't have to be new.

Since there is no advertising in the magazine, it might have to cost more, like $20, but just make it full of quality content so that fans will still want it. Since the answers to the fan questions will be written down, answer them thoughtfully.

I take back the digital concert being $12-$15. Most of her fans can probably afford $20 if they need to charge that much to make a profit. I was just thinking her fans are older and probably have kids and don't spend a ton of money on themselves.

I meant a full sized one with full page picture spreads. But yeah, kinda like that.

Re: My Caution world tour setlist (88,077) (88,097) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Robert-Anthony, your preferred setlist is my favourite so far. Everyone has awesome set list suggestions so far. I think we're all ready to pass the #1s standard set list, if I'm reading everyone on this borde correctly. Here's what I would love to see:

1. GTFO intro into Heat
2. I'm that chick
3. It's like that
4. Touch my body
5. A no no remix
6. #Beautiful
7. With you
8. I don't want to cry
9. Caution
10. You don't know what to do
11. Loverboy
12. Shake it off
13. Fantasy
14. Triumphant vintage remix
15. Don't forget about us
16. The distance
17. We belong together / Butterfly closer

I think the general public and Lambs are over Hero being the "encore" at the end of a show. I think now, in 2019, We Belong Together is Mariah's signature song. Hero is getting dated, and apart of that Barbra Streisand/Celine vain of Adult Contemprary standards, which IMO doesn't represent Mariah's individual, unique artistry.

Re: Thoughts (88,095) (88,096) by B from USA
Didn't Mariah do it first with the limited edition Elle mini-magazine that came with Memoirs?

Thoughts (88,095) by Dove from United States
I guess what's frustrating about JLo is that she's everywhere which makes it seem like she's more successful and her fans get a bunch of sightings, pictures, and performances. If MC doesn't have good relationships with media outlets I wouldn't be upset if she released things straight to consumers. I liked the magazines Taylor Swift put out when Reputation was released. She could choose the photographer and pictures and we would get a whole magazine full of Mariah content instead of paying for just the 2-3 pages we really want. She could have fans send her questions and pick the best ones for a long interview. She could share some stories and personal pictures next to the artistic professional ones.

Also an unplugged type concert. It wouldn't need to be a physical copy - just release it digitally. And don't be greedy, $12 - $15 for a digital concert is a fair price. The concert with the orchestra would be nice. Or if she sang all the songs on Caution on the stage in Vegas, rehearsal style. No audience needed. That way she could do it a bunch of times until it's to her liking but still sounds unplugged and raw.

Florence 4ever concert (88,094) by Shezz from Pk
So for the first time the stars might align and I might go to my first ever Mariah concert because I have a plan with friends to be in Florence in the first week of June. Is anybody else going to be going to that? Wouldn't mind seeing John Legend either.

I have a couple of apprehensions because the 4ever concept will be with a 100 member orchestra which should be amazing but does that mean it will be a shorter set with only songs that'll go with the setting like the New York Philharmonic one? Is it going to be a part of the Caution world tour or more like a #1s / all the hits? At first it wasn't listed on her website with the Caution tour but now it is.

I do want to hear some Caution songs and some upbeat numbers that don't go with the whole orchestra theme as well. A bit confused if I should go to Florence 4ever or catch her in another European city around that time. On one hand the orchestra would be amazing and it's right in the middle of her tour so her "voice" will be there or getting there but then it won't have the whole typical vibe of a Mariah concert like the Sweet sweet fantasy tour did with the exciting entrance intro etc. What do you all think? Thanks.

Re: My Caution world tour set list (88,091) (88,092) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
I agree with you that her old set lists are repetitive, but I have only seen Mariah two times, and when I pay to see her, I would like some, actually quiet a few, of the oldies, because they are the one that brings back the nostalgia. The audience also tends to be very diverse, so many are the to hear Hero, Always Be My Baby, Without You and We Belong Together.

I like if she sang four to five songs from Caution, but I also would like to hear some of the songs I grew up with. Either way, I like your set list, but I like it better a bit differently.

Re: My Caution world tour set list (88,085) (88,091) by Gilles from Malta
Hi everybody. So regarding Caution Tour I expect a major part of the concert with Caution tracks and not old repertoire I tired of it (and she might be as well). The old songs I want them as a medley. Cause Mariah's tour are getting so repetitive because of the other album.

GTFO
Fantasy
Underneath the stars
car medley
The Roof
With you
Givin' me life
Interomptu
Band and dancers intro
The distance
Caution
Looking in
8th grade
another car medley
Hero
We belong together
Portrait
Rainbow interlude

Please no more number one hit as Honey, Heartbreaker and others, Touch my Body or in medley.

Re: My Caution world tour setlist (88,077) (88,090) by Bill from the UK
For mine I axed all the tired old material, save a few exceptions. I had a section in the middle for some old tunes. Deliberately had The Roof float into Giving Me Life, and Runway into the Butterfly Outro.

Portrait intro
Emotions (Meltdown version)
With You
Caution
A No No (remix)

For the nostalgia:
Dreamlover
I'll Be There
Honey
Heartbreaker
The Roof

Giving Me Life
One Mo' Gen
The Distance
We Belong Together
Hero
Runway
Butterfly outro

I think it'd be more fitting for MC to end the concert with GTFO lol.

Mariah's World (88,087) by B from USA
I recently rewatched Mariah's World and if each episode had focused on Mariah doing activities with her children before a performance and ended with clips of her performing it would've been so much better.

Re: Article: 5 Songs by Mariah Carey that should've hit #1 (88,084) (88,086) by B from USA
Some publications claim Elvis has more #1's than Mariah because one of his #1's was a double a side. However, if we use their logic Mariah's double a side single My All/Breakdown should be counted as two #1's.

Am I the only one who think it's a little strange that a journalist who claims to be a lamb, put Mariah behind Elvis when talking about how many number one hits they got under their belts?
