WIB played on mainstream radio, success (97,894) by T from USA The fact that a new Mariah song in her current voice and age has been played on mainstream top 40 radio (albeit only 2 spins) is huge in my opinion. That is the biggest thing for the WIB era I will take away. As long as the door is opened a crack can always get wider with the right material. Urban spins are picking up fast, and Rhythmic radio is almost in the top 40 for spins. (Tuesday 27 April 2021; 16:57)

It's silly how quickly fan bases start dragging and being petty. I think it's cool and educational when true veterans, legends even, speak their minds. I understand why she stayed on Island/DJ as LA Reid was still head but with each release the promo dwindled. Honourable mentions to TMB, and #Beautiful which did get a very decent label push. (New York City) Def Jam just like every major has been go through restructuring, and changes because the music business itself is in a free fall because of the changes in technology, and how people consume the music. Labels are not spending as much as they once did because the money is not coming in as it used to. Only a handful of today's pop stars are actually selling records everyone is better be thankful for streaming because without it a lot of these pop stars would be in trouble even the ones getting major praise, and AirPlay besides Taylor, and Adele who actually put up major numbers with, without streaming. Vocal analysis video found (97,882) by Bobby A from United States I think that I may have found the best video yet that analyzes MC's voice and vocal decline. I can never figure out how to share the link using my phone. However, if you type the Google search "Mariah Carey's voice explained". The YouTube video by I Love Aretha Franklin will come up. This video is a must watch. MC16 is going to show that she lost her capital and her voice has more of a edge to it that ever before. These are the terms being used in the video. These terms really explain MC's vocal decline. One video last year of MC singing Stay The Night clearly shows the edge of her voice. Let me know your thoughts. (Sunday 25 April 2021; 04:31)
