Ready for Memoiriah. From the way she's been wording the promo surrounding this book, it sounds like it's coming with lots revelations. Bring it on girl.

Great title. I loved "I Had a Vision of Love" as well, but this is much better.

The Meaning of Mariah Carey (94,520) by Terna from Nigeria
I have purposefully in the past avoided reading autobiographies of Mariah, as it wasn't really her speaking but this one I most certainly would be getting. I'm glad she's telling her story, Unfiltered. September 29th, isn't that the anniversary of MOAIA?

She tweeted and looks like there's a site that shows the cover and takes preorders. Says it's written with Michaela Angela Davis. I'm really looking forward. I feel like I'll need a couple days off of work so that I can immerse in it without interruption.

The meaning of Mariah Carey (94,518) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
The official title and will be available everywhere September 29, 2020. This date is always the 11th anniversary for Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

Mariah's memoir (94,517) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Yes there is a co-writer involved. She actually wrote the Essence piece on MC during TEOM era. I honestly cannot remember her name at the moment. However I am still excited to read what is between the pages of this book based on what MC posted yesterday on Instagram in regards to her memoir. Hopefully we will all learn something, as well as get a better insight of MC after loving her, and music for so long. Be blessed, be safe, and enjoy your day Archives family.

Re: Mariah's memoir (94,512) (94,516) by Will from England
It would not surprise me if there was a ghostwriter involved. Didn't she say a while back that she was? I have a faint recollection of her mentioning it very briefly, but I may be wrong. Can't wait for the audiobook version as well.

Re: Mariah's memoir (94,510) (94,514) by Bill from the UK
Agree, equally as excited. I really can't wait to read it. Her Story by Chris Nickson was okay but very, very fairytale-esque and obviously commissioned by the record company. Tommy's book was a bit more revealing but Mariah was only a handful of chapters and some throwaway remarks here and there. Damizza's chapters on Mariah in his book were probably the most revealing and interesting. But judging by Mariah's Instagram post this is going to be a great insight into her.

Re: Mariah's memoir (94,510) (94,512) by Tijl from Belgium
I really wonder if there is a ghostwriter involved or has Mariah written the novel by herself. We all know she has excellent writing skills when it comes to music but an entire book is quite a different enterprise.

Mariah's memoir (94,510) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Wow I've just checked MC's Instagram and what she's saying about her memoir makes me very excited. I can't wait to read it. Her "letter" is showing a very reflective, sensitive woman. The last sentence with the "human reslience" totally gets me right now. Does anyone know when the booklet will be released?

This pic is truly beautiful. A sunflower and a relaxed, thoughtful looking Mariah. I love it.

Re: This picture of Mariah is everything (94,505) (94,508) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
I like the photo. But - and I know this isn’t a popular viewpoint - Mariah is, once again, overweight. I don’t get it. She has a gym, has plenty of time and can afford a live-in personal trainer, dietician and cook. She obviously knows how unbelievably beautiful she is when she is a healthy weight as she likes to photoshop herself to her that image. So why not just do it? Other celebrities maintain their body image. Mariah is one of only a handful that do not and it does her a disservice.

Lol sorry. If it's any help, head to her Insta and look at the picture of her holding the sunflower. So natural and beautiful. A natural beauty.

Mariah (94,503) by We are Lambily from USA
Can we just appreciate how rich and amazing her catalogue is. Damn she really is arguably the most talented artist. Due to her amazing voice she is often overlooked as a songwriter and producer.

I know we getting that memoir this year but I really hope she makes another documentary that revolves around her unprecedented legacy and her bad days.

I wish people could see Mariah for who she really is, I don't think there is a cooler legend than she is. The word diva has changed its meaning and Mariah fell a victim of it. The fact that almost everyone she has worked with/or met "in a 30 year career" speaks highly of her just confirms what I have always seen. A funny, charismatic, down to earth yet over the top human being.

I'm really grateful for all the memories she has given us throughout the year. Thank you Mariah for being a vision of love.

Fourth of July (94,500) by Jeff from USA
I always loved the transition from Fourth of July to Breakdown. The chirping birds leading from a moment in love to the pain of love lost. Brilliant and beautiful.
