It's such a confident, awesome opening line. I read a lot more into the line than it just being Mariah's promise to a lover. It's the eargasmic opening line of Honey, delivered with breathy ohs, effectively ushering in the era of a sexy nu-Mariah, announcing her return from a quick break in the most seductive way possible. This is a level of expensive, effortless sexiness that she has yet to top. When she coos "Honey got me hooked on you...", you'll be like, "Same, Mariah, same." That was the first Mariah song I ever heard. People can bag on Tommy all they want. The guy made MC keep this song and record it herself and make a Christmas album. Where I Belong video (97,796) by T from USA WIB video is already at 5 million on YouTube and over 2 million on Facebook. Mariah looks great in it and their chemistry is still top notch. But we got to do something for radio support. Be it twitter or good old fashion call and request, but the video can't do it alone. Any good little lamb knows the greatest opening line is: "There's a hero if you look inside your heart..." The whole song summed up in the in the first line, you trust her because you know immediately exactly what she is doing and exactly where she is taking you. And if that isn't just about the one line every young person going through shit, feeling depressed and contemplating suicide needs to have emblazoned in their minds. It's all right there. The Roof and My All sound more beautiful now that we know more of what inspired the songs. "You look at me and see the girl, who lives inside the golden world. But don't believe that's all there is to see. You'll never know the real me." I know that's a few lines, but Looking In has always been a huge favorite of mine.
