What is iTunes? I thought they had gone away back in 2015.

Spoiler alert (98,661)
by Bobby A from United States
| |
|
|
BMI has a song, Fall In Love At Christmas on their website credited to MC, Kirk Franklin, Daniel Moore, and Khalid. Some fans are reporting on Twitter that the song samples Kirk Franklin and features Khalid. This is the song MC was talking about that she wrote with Daniel Moore and was looking for a young male singer. Kelly has a breakup song and MC has a fall in love song. Lol. Robert-Anthony reporting from Atlanta.

Passing (98,659)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
Speaking of Netflix, the movie Passing is comiing in November. This looks very interesting, starring Ruth Negga and Tessa Thompson and directed by actress Rebecca Hall. It's based on the 1929 novel "Passing". The movie is bound to spark much conversation and debate. Rebecca Hall's backstory is equally interesting with her own familial connection to passing from her maternal grandfather. She also appears on a forthcoming episode of Finding Our Roots, where she wss able to learn more than her family ever knew on the subject. Dev Hynes is doing the musical score. I'm sure Mimi will be checking this movie out as well as she seems to like the old Hollywood black and white melodramas. This move is a period piece in that vein.

Exactly. Plus, a break up song during Christmas doesn't make sense to me. When you think of Christmas love songs, you think of songs that bring folks together. Cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies don't see the end where the couple breaks up. They end with that resolution kiss. Sorry Kelly, Underneath The Tree is a far superior song. Christmas Is Not Cancelled (Just You)? Pass.

You're kidding, right? This is AIWFCIY. The song that defines Christmas. A song that went #1 after 25 years. Next.

IMO, the track did nothing for me and is forgettable. I don't think it will appeal to half the people that listen to AIWFCIY every year.

Kelly Clarkson's Christmas Isn't Cancelled (Just You) might go head to head with AIWFCIS for #1 this year. Her new song is really good and a bop. It is going to be an interesting holiday season because there are like 20 holiday album releases this year.

Hero 2021 (98,652)
by Bobby A from United States

I think it is time for MC to record Hero with a huge gospel chorus of a big choir. I love it when she reimagines her most popular inspirational songs. I truly believe MC is going to brighten all of our holiday season this year. She has been working hard all year.

I can't believe you never watched the horror movie "Glitter", with Mariah as the screaming queen and Da Brat as the devil.

If you say Tanaka in front of the mirror 5 times, she appears back in the message board? We should try it. BTW I saw the new Candyman movie and I have to say it was pretty good. It felt unfinished for some reason but still a very good movie. I think the message behind it was very powerful. I do wish we could see Mariah in a decent horror movie. That would be fun, and I'm sure "I don't know her" would enjoy a death scene. Just got laughs.

Babe sounds operatic now. Diana does a bit too. Nothing wrong with that. But glad Mariah stays true to not going there. Gosh I watched the recent adds on Dionne Warwick channel on YouTube and oooooh doesn't sound like she used to at all. And may I also add, she doesn't even sound good.

Oh my, I always wondered this too. Especially how her voice has constantly kept changing yet remaining the same, it lost some qualities along the way and then gained others. Mariah has the most intriguing voice I have ever heard.

I loved your choices for the Rarities Part 2 but guys MC can't sleep on the #Beautiful remix we heard a snippet around 2013. That really sounded like a bop just from some seconds she showed on a call when she had that injure and now it's nowhere to be found.

Mariah singing as a child (98,638)
by Rene from US
| |
|
|
I've always wondered what Mariah sounded as a little girl. She has mentioned there is no video but there is audio. Selena's (Quintanilla) camp released music as her as a child. I can't get over her voice and wondered how Mariah sounded. It would be cool to hear that, and wondered if her whistle tone was recorded back then.
