Mariah now has 7: AIWFCIY, WBT, I Know What You Want, Always Be My Baby, When You Believe, Without You, and Hero. Obsessed is almost there, as well as Christmas Baby Please Come Home, and surely Fantasy, Touch My Body, making it 11. Up there with Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Ariana and Taylor. She's the only pre-2000 female with this kind of streaming power. Talk about a catalog full of classics.

Merry Christmas to you too (103,897)

I would prefer a more simpler title like Christmas Time Again.

Mariah does like to have her albums with a tongue in cheek title every now and then, I suppose if we were to count the re-released deluxe Merry Christmas album as her third, Merry Christmas II You II would be perfect as it would be her fourth one.

Merry Christmas 4 All would also be funny and fitting. She can do no wrong when it comes to album titles, except for Me. I Am Mariah, the Elusive Chanteuse, which is my least loved album and title. That one could have easily been Elusive Chanteuse or Me, I Am Mariah. I Want to Know What Love is was exquisite.

I would think a 3rd release is better timed for MCH30 next year. Hopefully a release won't be called "Merry Christmas One And All". I think Merry Christmas III is a solid title. Merry Christmas III or Merry Christmas II You II.

She's been overdoing the Christmas stuff with a few subpart songs here and there that have gone nowhere. She might as well work on a proper project and put it out there. Anything Christmas related she releases wouldn't overshadow AIWFCIY..

No, just no she's over doing the Christmas thingy and it could easily backfire and have everyone tune out mentally on her Christmas offerings, including AIWFCIY. I sure hope she isn't cooking up another Christmas album. That would be overkill. The only thing Christmas themed I would want to hear from her is an official recording of "Away in a Manger" with Roe Roe and her own version of "Where are you Christmas". Mariah dear, absolutely no new Christmas albums for you.

I'm definitely down for a third Christmas album, but it should only contain new music. I don't want any new rework from past albums. I have the feeling the "theme album" she was talking about is a Christmas album, and it might be coming out soon.

I would absolutely love another Christmas album with a mix of classics and original songs. Nothing remixed or reworked though. I don't think there is anything anyone can do to stop AIWFCIY from charting high every year. The song is bigger than anything during the Christmas holidays. Bigger than Santa Claus even. Mariah has hijacked the holiday and she's not giving it back. She'll be 80 years old and still doing her annual Christmas concerts.

Parents still have the option of providing a smartphone and internet to their children. If it were my kid, I'd buy them a straight up phone without the internet and actually monitor my kid to protect them. It's up to each parent out there and how much they care about protecting and monitoring their young ones. Providing internet and monitoring children is absolutely an option. Problem is the parents don't want to parent anymore, they're too wrapped up in social media themselves like it's more important than the kids. I know this might trigger some people out there but it's just an observation and my "dated" opinions.

"It's not Sam Smith's responsibility to protect children, that's what their parents are for." Libra Lamb, I usually agree with your points of view except this one. That argument is very dated especially in the smartphone/social media age we live in today, with the entertainment industry practically inescapable. Audio and video streaming are at kids' fingertips with just a simple click most notably YouTube. Sam Smith went from being a respectable singer who came across as super talented, to straight up gender confused clown show, kinda like what happened with Miley Cyrus and the world immediately tuned off and out on those two. To think there was much a do about Mariah dressing sexy in the late 90's, when compared to the stunts pulled by today's acts she would be Mary Poppins. The difference is Mariah did hers with class and never crossed the line, Sam Smith and Miley did in a very repulsive way.

As a grown ass person, you should know that it's not Sam Smith's responsibility to protect children, that's what their parents are for. The parents are 100% responsible for raising their children and protecting them from such things. As an artist, and an adult, he can do whatever he wants on and off that stage. Nice try, but no. I do agree that children should be protected until they are old enough to understand and make up their own minds, but again, that's the parent's responsibility.

As wrong or weird in almost everything you've ever said, as you are - you are correct in one thing: if Sam Smith were not obese and unattractive I may just appreciate a performance he puts on. But he is obese and unattractive and puts on vulgar performances viewed by minors and I don't like it.
In fact, many people don't like it. If he puts himself out there doing it - people are going to voice opinions on it. Being so-called "queer" does not make absolve you of responsibility over your actions.
So your ad hominem attacks won't work with me. What does work is exercise, so hop to it, now, sweetheart: you're not in the Fitness Protection Programme. Keep running from the Carbs.

Spanish, which is my first language, has a binary grammar gender system, differentiating masculine and feminine. Pronouns, nouns, articles and adjectives are all gendered and they have to agree in number and gender when you use them. The city government in Buenos Aires, the nation's capital, banned teachers from using any gender-neutral words during class and in communications with parents. The city's education minister said such language violated the rules of Spanish and stymied students' reading comprehension.
As a grown ass person, you can identify yourself as whatever you want, but leave children alone. Pushing gender ideology on children is criminal to me.

Nothing you said makes any sense, I don't know if you're serious, joking or crying out for help. Think you know my thoughts? Either way, I stand by my statement and we can agree to disagree. No one said anything about transphobia, it didn't even cross my mind. But since you brought it up, I've been known to call out and unfollow/unfriend friends and family that are transphobic and homophobic. I hope that doesn't keep you up at night too like Sam Smith's gender identity. How about mind your own business about what other people identify as, try it I promise it's not that bad. You could instead focus on yourself and seek happiness because no-one that is that triggered by other's genders is truly happy. It's okay to not like someone or their artistry, what's not okay is to discount how they feel and what they are going through inside. That was my point the whole time.

Exactly my point, opinions are like the anus, everybody has one, not matter how ignorant and stupid it can be. I know it's eating up you can't quite use the word transphobia here, but fatphobia should do. Ignorant much.

Yes, 100 thumbs up for this post. Absolutely on point.
For example, I liked the debut album from Sam Smith, but since I saw his latest "performance" on stage, it's hard for me to listen to his music. Madonna and Sam Smith are very vulgar and it's just annoying. They should tour together. Lol.
On a side note: Our ministery of education has forbidden the "gendern" for the elemantary schools. There is hope. I don't know how it's in English but in German it's just grammatically wrong with the gender thing and not needed at all.
