Channeling my inner 90's Mariah (99,991) by Jamie from UK Just watched an old clip of MC singing Dreamlover with the [Price] sisters as background and I got to thinking, I'd love to speak to the [Price] sisters to get there spin on Mariah then and the "change" in her since 2001. I love both Mariah's but it just intrigues me how much she changed. Maybe [I'm] just reminiscing on more innocent times when I was younger but to me there is a definite change. I'm not sure about this rapper Latto, I'll be checking her out to see if she has actual talent. But I love the Honey remix with the Lox. I'll be Lovin' You Longtime remix with T.I. As far as her jumping on a new rapper's song, I think she understands the music business has changed. It's all about a viral moment if she wants to stay relevant. Plus with BE basically having the same sample as one of her biggest hits it's quite natural for her to be featured on it. No harm in her having a viral moment and create momentum for her to release her own stuff. This feature will also introduce her to a newer generation/fan base and shed some musical light over the dark dank Mariah less world they've been living in hahah. (Saturday 26 March 2022; 18:48)

And oh gosh I was so furious at Latto for saying she didn't know Mariah used "Genius of Love" while also having mentioned she loves Mariah and owns all her stuff (dressing up as Mariah's Rainbow cover for Halloween) lol I was like girl how are you gonna sit here and pretend you don't know one of Mariah's biggest hits. Fantasy changed the remix culture. And I was also like why is Mariah not shading her haha now I know. Also how exciting that for the first time in years a rumour or lamb speculation of Mariah came true because I was for sure in the back of my mind thinking oh well they'll announce it and it won't be Mariah (lol like the whole A No No Cardi moment). All the clues pointed to it and even Mariah has been using Fantasy in a lot of promo like Black Irish and masterclass but we lambs have misread clues many times so I didn't think it's happening. Latto seems confident by saying this will be her first and Mariah's 20th #1 so that gives me hope there's a good promo strategy in place. I'm not expecting a #1 but a good chart positioning and some success would be great just before Mariah releases her own stuff. MTV Unplugged EP - 30th anniversary (99,979) by Horacio from United States Certified at 4x RIAA and with 7 million copies worldwide, is this the best selling female live album of all time? I know there are other high-profile live albums that have sold better, ie Garth Brooks Double Live with 14 million copies, but I can't find a definite list anywhere, but from what I can conclude looking at other high-selling female artists, Mariah Carey should have the record for Best Selling Live Album of All Time by a Female Artist with MTV Unplugged.
