Triumphant (98,213) (98,216) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The only reason lambs hated the song at that point was they were waiting for years for Mariah's next lead single (although Triumphant was later dubbed a buzz single), and so after waiting for so long they got a song where Mariah feels like a featured artist or hook girl. But to be honest I didn't care, I loved it from the first listen. Even loved the video. I still watch it. Also yes a great work out song, gets me going. I had once back in the day dubbed it the new "Hero" on this board haha. At the risk of the lambs coming for me. But I do think that song should have done a lot better on the charts. It was a bit different to have MC only sing the hook and then appear for the bridge, but I love the energy of the song and how Mariah looks like she's made of solid gold on the picture sleeve. For me the chorus and vocal performance at the end made up for the fact that she didn't do the verses which I didn't mind at all. I don't know why the Lambily rebelled on that one. Haha. If I want to listen to Charmbracelet I have to schedule it into my calendar lol as that album never seems to end. New Mariah Carey era (98,209) by Terna from Nigeria Honestly, after all the success she's had and major [hits], I honestly don't think we've seen the best of her yet. There's still at least one major, massive (all caps) era left in her and I have a feeling were about to witness it, but she needs a team that believes in the music and is capable, kinda like during the "Emancipation of Mimi" era. The music too has to deliver as well as her vocals - top notch quality as expected when it comes to a Mariah Carey record. Caution came close, but lacked vocally, was too brief and haphazardly promoted. (Friday 18 June 2021; 21:08)

Re: Undeniable MC (98,178) (98,207) by Terna from Nigeria I agree with you on this one, Mariah's sound is deeply rooted in everything she does musically, her choice of melodies, chords, vocals and even song arrangement is very distinct so much so that she's identifiable even when she isn't the performing artist. A very good example are the songs she's written for other artists - "Allure", "Faith Hill" to name a few. Immediately I heard those songs I thought to myself that they were "Mariahesque" so to speak which I later confirmed. (Friday 18 June 2021; 20:21)

No more single teases, just drop the song (98,199) by SM from Citizen of the World I hope Mariah's next single/album, she just puts it out and doesn't do any teases, countdowns etc. I think it's lame now in 2021, nobody really cares besides the lambily and it would probably spark more interest in the public, especially if it's a decent lead. Worst song ever made? Triumphant (98,198) by SM from Citizen of the World Despite the inspiring lyrics and the story behind it, Triumphant would be my least favorite Mariah track in her catalog.
