Here For It All (109,957) by Anonymous from United States You know, in retrospect, I don't think seven years has been that much of a wait in comparison to some longer breaks that other artists have taken. Janet Jackson hasn't had a proper studio album since Unbreakable in 2015. Toni Braxton took eight years between Pulse (2010) and Sex & Cigarettes (2018). Maybe Mariah will be able to get more music out now that the twins are teenagers and with Larry Jackson and the Gamma team supporting her. I'm looking forward to hearing the new music, and I'm really excited for this "Live and Let Die" cover. I love it when Mariah pulls off a random 70s/80s rock cover for us. It seems like some of the songs selected for the album were recorded earlier in the process than others, and it's clear that there were multiple sets of sessions for the album as we heard about during her interviews for the last few years. The collaboration with the Clark Sisters and the songs with just Daniel Moore seem to have been completed before the sessions with Anderson .Paak. This summer has been super hard for me personally, but having a new Mariah album to look forward to has seriously brightened up my day(s). As you said about the walls, I think she spend too much time listening to her old music and that doesn't give her new ideas or inspiration. As Cher said when the interviewer asked her about listening to her own music, she was like "No, I'm not a big Cher fan." I have got the impression that MC is a big Mariah Carey fan. She obviously hate aging, and I believe she is obsessed about looking perfect at all time, also on stage (look at her performances in 1990-91 and compare the facial expressions then and now/or the early 2000). Some people call her a vampire because it looks like she's not aging, I would love if she didn't put all that poison in her face and rather aged naturally with grace and style. I simply debunked the insinuation of me bringing "bad vibes", I've been having fun with the discussions here and really enjoy giving Mariah love. Far from "bitchy and petty diatribe". If you actually wanna talk about petty, look at the contrast of how we treated an exiting lamb. I wished him well and your sentiment to him is, "I'm dead serious, if you go, you can never twerk with us again." Mariah felt like an outsider and many of her fans connected to her with that. So it's safe to say a lot of lambs is simply looking for a place of connection and belonging. I mean sure, Brad may have had his moments and you can have all the disagreement you want with him but that no one should be rejoicing when someone permanently leaves.
