I hope Mariah never releases anything anymore (105,674) by JC from United States
This is suppose to be a Mariah fan board, all I've seen is negative uncalled for opinions on Mariah and her voice, you guys think she's a robot? I recently saw a video of twitter spaces, some lamb had the balls to tell Mariah that every time she performs the lambs wonder if she will hit a g7 or how high she will go. Meanwhile this lamb works at Burger King but thinks he knows everything about her voice. I noticed this was her last time on twitter spaces. You guys are ruining this for her, y'all don't know anything about her voice or what's going on, have some respect for the woman who supposedly you say saved your life with her music. I really hope she doesn't release anything new. Why would she? Just for you guys to disect and judge her voice condition. I used to love this board, before all the lambs became vocal teachers.

I don't think she's going to be credited but iId like to be surprised lol. This is just a cute little remix like BER that she barely spent time on. It's the lambs that are hungry for new materials, to the point of embracing an AI version of a flop JT song.

I'm guessing it's going to be close. But it's going to be up to Billboard, they're not going to release the split of numbers.

I think Mariah should already be credited. The remix helped Ariana until her album is released, and the original would have dropped out of the top 30, most likely worse, and that would have been a disaster for her. There's so much is riding on Ariana on this release.

Either way, I just like that Mariah is collaborating with her and new artists. She should do this more often, regardless of chart results.

New album (105,672) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
JWho apparently spent 20 million of her own money to create a visual album. Now I haven't seen the visuals neither have I heard the album so I don't know much about it. I hear it's average but that's a really ambitious project. It didn't do great sales wise but like I said still ambitious. The way Mariah writes her songs sometimes you can envision them (like BGK, Babydoll, Crybaby etc) so I would really love a visual album from Mariah. Where she hires creative people to help her out with strong visuals. I wish she'd be willing to take that ambitious project on. Also I was hoping MC releases her album sooner that later, the more she'll delay the lesser attention it'll get. I still think she's got more hits in her just need to have the right collaborations whether it's other writers or other artists.

Don't forget the #Beautiful dance remixes with re-recorded vocals that's she teased but never released.

I would love a second remix album. Triumphant Vintage Mix, some of the Jump Smokers remixes from Angles Advocate, Big Energy, Yes, And?, Where I Belong with Busta, etc. I would love it on vinyl.

I third this notion. If this turns into a WAP situation, I'm just going to have to bounce. I can't, and won't defend that mess. If this is a Bruno Mars "Finness" type moment, I'll stay aboard the ship.

You just said that she was happy during I Don't, and now you say she wasn't happy during the Stella era. This was all one long run-on era. This woman didn't know what she was doing, and let that maniac take full control and fly the damn plane. Notice how she mentions nothing during this era? She doesn't even acknowledge that Takaka dude. He vanished and made some irrelevant statements. She hasn't said spit, which tells me it was either all fake, or she completely regrets that moment, and placed it in the Stella bin.

Wasn't all of this silly behavior during the MIAM era? MC was not happy during this era. Plus, Crustella was running everything.

I forgot that she did perform I Don't 100% live. She was having some fun and was happy during this era.

Of course it's not about what I want. I just meant not every fan was hoping for this remix. If you enjoy it, fantastic. With the chart-driven thing, I don't get it. Because Mariah broke allready every record. Why not release the inner soul-artist she's in my eyes too.

General public or bad decisions (105,660) by Zachariah from Croatia
Her PR. That was the main problem. She was always so nice. I became even bigger fan after 1997. I loved that sound and naughty image. But she kept emphasizing that goody two shoes role instead, for example, calling out Jennifer in an award ceremony for stealing sample for Loverboy. Publicly. Not just shading and whispering. Make a damn scene. Get mad. Not diva mad. Woman mad. Make an angry damn song and spit on everyone. Instead, she had idiotic people around herself spreading rumors that she doesn't walk on carpet, that she wants to be skinny like kids in Africa, being late all the time, demanding puppies in the backstage, being eternally 12 and etc etc.
People remember that. And they roll their eyes and move on.

I Don't (105,658) by enwar00 from usa
I Don't always gets so much hate on this board. It's funny or maybe ironic because that whole era she sang live at ease and sounded fire, and now here we are some handful years later, the nightmare era is just a memory yet we're scared of her singing one verse live on TV. Yikes.

Because she's always chosen charts and hits above anything else? Clearly you've conveniently forgotten I Don't, Crapfinity, Save the Day, etc. Oh wait, those don't count. They were buzz singles. Sorry, my bad.

Mad here? That depends. It depends on if the collaboration steers toward the WAP Cardi B with MC running around in a bathing suit once again. No thanks. That's so beneath Mariah's legend status. Now I'd it's a fun bop aka Fantasy, Heartbreaker, Crybaby, etc then yeah, I'm all for it.

It's why I don't take anything said here too seriously. At the end of the day I have been an MC fan for 30 years. I don't need to prove anything to anyone. I'll always love her music. Saved me on many occasions. Carey on.

And add her take on Nevertheless (I'm in love with you). Now that music is timeless.

I like Yes And. Do I think it has the same magic, wow factor that a Jay-Z collab did with Heartbreaker? No. But I ain't mad at it. It's a huge step up from I Don't, Save the Day, etc.

I love your idea. I know that she has some extra outtakes and vocal stems for most of the songs on the remix album. I would love to see David Morales add some "Stereo Experience" mixes for Dreamlover, Fantasy, and Honey like he did for It's Like That and add new club remixes for the radio remixes like My All/Stay Awhile, Heartbreaker ft. Missy Elliot and Da Brat, and ABMB ft. Xscape. I would love a new Butterfly club remix by Disclosure or Salaam Remi. By the way, why hasn't MC worked with Salaam Remi before?

I'm sure this is going to cause a stir here, but I'm here for it. Like a vol 2 of her OG remix album, and add in new ones and new collabs. Mariah's now done 2 remixes and they're both bops, and it seems like an easy releases for her hardly lifting a finger lol, meanwhile her album is taking forever. Don't come at me, it's just an idea. What do you all think?
