People are so dumb they literally said Mariah was showing off her vocals on purpose to sabotage Ariana. As if it's not Ariana's song and I'm sure Ariana discussed with Mariah what she wanted and Mariah delivered accordingly. This isn't like it was a Mariah song and Ariana had no say in it. Apparently Mariah's "loud" vocals sound really great when played in clubs because someone mentioned the remix was played in a club they went to. So Mariah knew exactly what she's was doing. Others saying Mariah sounds AI generated, like ok so she sounds great? People hate it when she whispers, people hate it when she's belting. People hate it when she doesn't sound great, people hate it when she does sound great.

That's always been how she is on her remixes. Clearly they don't know Mariah's iconic remixes which are still some of the best.

I like the song. It's got 90s retro vibe all over it and I am totally on board, minus the cuss words. Ugh, someone find me a clean remix version. Stat. But, I digress. Given her last couple of songs (remember I Don't, Crapfinity, Save the Day), I'd say this is a huge improvement. Hopefully a new album continues in this direction.

So the remix is a lot better than the original song. I hope Mariah and Ariana have a lot of success with this song. I don't mean to be negative but there's this part of me that hopes it cracks the top 10 or even top 5 on Billboard, but not reach number one.  I just don't like the song or the message at all. Like I said Mariah added depth to the song that it was missing, and other than the bad mixing on the pre and first chorus everything songs great, uh, I don't know, I just feel like this song shouldn't be attached to the brilliant songs that make up the other 19. Call it single/song impostor syndrome, idk. Anyway on a positive note, I have been trying to stream it in the background to help. I do hope they both work on an original song together in the future and not just remakes.
Also, as a YouTuber said in his reaction of yes and, Mariah has started off belting in a song since 1996  lol, so I was happy and presently surprised that she was belting in full chest voice throughout the song and sounding great too.

Agreed. I like Yes, And? It definitely doesn't have the same magic as Vogue or Dreamlover. But I ain't mad at it. It's nice to see MC get the love and respect she deserves.

When was the last time Mariah was on top worldwide and it wasn't a Christmas song? Even here in Norway, Mariah is now #3 on top songs on iTunes. I had completely forgotten the feeling I experience when Mariah is represented on the charts. It's too early to hope for Mariah's name to be on offical charts around the world, but what a great feeling that would be. Nevertheless, congrats Mariah and Ariana.

My first thought when I saw the news about this release. Will Mariah start counting this as her 20th #1 record even though it went to number one *before* she appeared on a remixed version of it?
The song itself is pretty unimpressive, but most pop music these days is. I'm also very skeptical of any writing credit awarded to Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, etc these days - especially if a professional songwriter like Max Martin is involved. My suspicion is that the song is brought to them 90 percent completed by professional producers/songwriters, and they then change a few lyrics or notes and consider that "writing".

I love it. MC brings us back to the house mixes for the nostalgia. It's nice to hear her on a proper uptempo song. Her and Max Martin are a match made in heaven. So fresh but yet so classic sounding. Here voice is sounds great, and the overall vibe of the song is amazing. Hopefully we all do our part and stream this song, buy it and dare I say request it on radio. Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor is one of my favorite albums, it is just perfect. I wish MC would actually do something like that but with her twist on it, her lyrics alone would be superior. I want a continuous all dance album. 12 tracks.

I just realized that she did the harmonizing higher note, in chest voice, all throughout Ariana's verses. The difference is, again, if you listen closely, Mariah did it in full chest voice. Basically, Mariah was saying, "I can sing whatever she's singing still, but better/stronger."

What an amazing return to pure Pop for MC. This bleeds her early dance jams like Someday remix. I absolutely love their voices together, and it elevates the OG version so much. I love all these women forward songs Mariah has done recently from Brandy, to Lotto and Ari.
