This is all her old baggage. Nick's procreation spree isn't her concern and if it is she needs to explore why that is. She needs to protect the kids from her own press. Yes Nick is wilding on pro creating for who knows why, but Mimi has tons to clean up with no one to blame but herself. Perhaps he thinks he's Rastafarian like Bob Marley with his gang of kids and baby moms, or Quincy Jones with six or seven and multiple moms. I was right (98,244) by Brad from USA The last time I posted, I indicated that my "lamb instincts" of over 30 years told me something was up with Mariah. Boy was I right. It's not one single thing, it's everything. The fall out from her memoir (which I really find to be painstakingly beautiful and richly detailed such that I am reading it in a deliberately slow and careful manner), her continued detachment from previous management issues (we're talkin mostly about those snakes in the grass, y'all), her work on upcoming projects (hopefully not just Christmas related - though we do hope for Emmy wins for her prior festive tv special), and of course, not least of all, her need to protect her children from the abomination that is their father. I think this last one largely explains her notable absence/decrease from posting pics of them and herself and turning away from social media (some) to protect them. Clearly, that man has some serious behavioral issues that require not only treatment and behavior management techniques to be employed but diligent parenting by Mariah to enable her children to feel genuinely wanted, special and loved. Not somewhat loved. This period is a culmination of many factors in her life, past and future. We send you strength, support, love and humanity during this challenging time, MC. Nick messed up, he let his dad's opinions on what [manhood] means to mess up his dream marriage and filed for divorce from Mariah in 2014. That divorce stunt is really what messed Mariah's MIAM [era] up and everything went south (damn you Nick that record had so much potential). In hind sight now he must be full of regret and all these kids with different women is his way of being passive aggressive maybe or an indicator to a deeper issue. I feel kind of bad for Roc And Roe and their siblings. Yes they'll all be financially taken care of, but it will always be embarrassing (and a bad look) for poppa to be a rolling stone, not living in the same household with mama, and not being a real sound family unit. I hope for the best in the future for all the kids and how they deal with this reality. Side note: I wonder if being Mr. Mariah Carey played a part in him wanting to impregnated multiple women who would actually need his financial support. And as far as her putting her best face on the family thing, yes at times, but on her terms and her turf. Nick is fine with her bubble. He's very active in his twins' lives but I don't blame him for having separate moments. I got sick if Mimi and her work parties with her kids. It's about time they both keep them lower profile on the web. Those kids are smart, net savvy and good readers and in their mom's case they were often witnesses with the witches and the foolery. I feel like on her end Mariah tried her best, she would include him in all celebrations, even his mother and family (as is the right thing to do obviously) and she seemed to always put a happy face and post pictures including him, instead of just looking like she's tolerating him. So I thought what an amazing co-parenting relationship. But obviously with now so many factors in this equation it just gets complicated for all parties. Nick made it clear post divorce that he was done with traditional and that he wanted at least five kids. Nothing about their family has been traditional post divorce for either of them. Multiple kids with multiple mothers is dumb, but the mothers are willing to collect their baby momma pensions and he is willing to pay. Meanwhile Mimi is still trying to settle sexual harassment lawsuits from the clowns who helped "raise" her kids for three years. It's apparently his fourth child in a year and 7th child in total. Now I obviously have no right to say anything about how people should live their lives but boy is this a mess. I feel bad for Roc n Roe because between all these kids and all the jobs Nick does I wonder if they even get to see him much anymore. Also all these kids won't probably see him much either.
