Somewhat Loved (98,687) by Terna from Nigeria This song gets better the more you play it, and her vocals sound so much better than on [Caution], I'm kinda left wondering are they recent vocals since she hinted it was written in 2012 (or was that a different song). Um no sir, [we're] not gonna sit here and act like that [debut] album isn't single handedly the biggest debut ever (all caps) for an artist. "Emotions" [pales] in comparison to the debut. Let's just put it this way. The debut album has "Vision of Love" and "Love Takes Time" two mammoth classics, and "Emotions" has "You're so cold". I only ever play four songs from that record: 1. Can't Let Go 2. Make It Happen 3. Emotions 4. The Wind Take these four out and you have fillers. (Saturday 2 October 2021; 14:39)

"Can't Let Go" for me is the only non number 1 song I feel like should've gone to the top, that song is so hauntingly popular and mysterious like so many people know the song but don't know who sang it. Mimi got us waiting (98,681) by Bobby A from United States Mimi is enjoying keeping us waiting this year with her big announcement. We had announcement already by this time last year. She hasn't said a word since the last Twitter Spaces event. Taylor moved her November release date up a week because of Adele's anticipated November 19th release. Mimi and her team must be plotting her biggest impact this Christmas season. We probably won't have any new vinyl release from Mimi this year because of the vinyl manufacturing delays right now. It barely missed the #1 spot because the record label didn't want sales of the single to impede sales of the album. In general, I do not understand why the "Emotions" album is so underrated. It's definitely her second best album behind "Butterfly" and light years better than the debut album. And I agree on "Butterfly". If Sony had commercially released it, the song would have gone to #1. I think it went to #16 on the Hot 100 airplay chart. Ditto for "Forever", which went to #9 on the Hot 100 airplay chart and could have been a #1 single with a commercial release. "Can't Take That Away" or "Crybaby" probably could have gone to #1 with proper promotion as well. "Endless Love" with Luther narrowly missed #1. And let's not forget that "Loverboy", as messy as the released version was, could have been a #1 single if Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" hadn't been released as a commercial single the same week.
