Ok now that I've had some time to absorb this whirlwind of a surprise. Here are a few thoughts, I am so happy for Mariah getting the love and admiration she deserves by getting a standing ovation. Everyone looked like they were in awe of her and Miley was so pumped even backstage she was gushing over Mariah. I absolutely love the huge publicity Mariah got over this weekend and I hope she uses this momentum to her advantage. The industry is fast moving so she needs to make her move when the spotlights on her. I'm glad she didn't announce anything today because Taylor did and that's going to be a whole storm. But MC make your move. I think this Grammy collab has been a very strategic move for her and if true I'm glad she's finally playing the industry game to her advantage after so long.

From the same insider account and from a Cardi B fan page. Just saw her present the pop vocal grammy - Miley Cyrus fan girling over her was so damn cute to watch, specially the backstage video.

Wow I wonder what got her to change her mind about the Grammys and be part of the whole weekend. She looked amazing but her dress was like 5 others that she already has. New era is coming soon I can feel it.

Depends on the song but I want some high quality videos with storyline and/or replay value. I would also like some celebrity cameos. Caution videos were high quality but did not really have a story line. Like GTFO and With You had Mariah looking stunning and looked high quality but has no replay value especially for non lambs and we need lambs and casual listeners to be hooked if we want a successful era. The Caution videos looked like high quality behind the scenes magazine photo shoots. We can't just have Mariah looking beautiful and posing on camera. We need videos like ILT and WBT, Heartbreaker, Honey, where we had beauty shots but there was replay value plus celeb cameos, also witty videos like TMB.

Stop, where did we get this info from? It would make sense with her amping up her public presence. Also I was hearing her website is down. Wonder if they're uploading new album stuff. If the prediction of her releasing something in Q1 is true it would make sense for her to announce it soon. I don't want to get my hopes up but I also can't help but get my hopes up haha. I wonder if this new relationship with the Grammy's is a strategic move on her team who campaigned for her to be an integral part of this year's celebration to put her in the limelight.
