Daydream (111,645) by Lighty from China
It was released on October 3 in the US, so I always considered Daydream as an October album.

Question (111,644) by Dove from United States
I have a question someone might have the answer to. One time, I heard a song on the radio that was so terrible I know there was no way anybody liked it. But it was playing on the radio every day, every hour. How do songs get chosen to be played on the radio? Like, who decides what's getting played every day, every hour?

Someone's Ugly Daughter (111,642) by BFF from United States
I would agree if the Chick album was any good. But it's not. It sounds like someone goofing off and perfecting their Courtney Love imitation. I'm a fan of Courtney Love and Hole, but that style just doesn't work for Mariah. I'm all about Mariah expanding her musical horizons, but I'd say a jazz album or an acoustic style album in the vein of "Right to Dream" would work better.

Mariah has a relatively narrow window to promote "Here for It All" before she goes abroad for more Mimi anniversary shows. And then before you know it, she will be prepping for the Christmas shows in Vegas. An album of this caliber deserved to receive a robust promotional push.

My dream (111,640) by Bill from the UK
Thought I'd share with you the dream I had last night about Mariah. She was in the UK doing some promo, and I went out of my way to go to where she was to see her and hopefully meet her. I waited and waited but didn't get to see her, and by then it was really late and, despite it being in London, there was no way for me to get home. So, I settled down outside the hotel she was staying at. At about 3am she came out to escape from everything and have a moment to herself. I let her have her ten minutes, then I tentatively called out to her, explained I wasn't a crazy stalker and that I couldn't get home, and what a big impact she had on my life. She was genuinely pleased and touched, and hugged me when I, through tears, told her how much her music had changed my life and thanked her for all she went through to keep people like me from being gifted with her songs. We hugged tightly for a long time, and then she went back inside. If I never meet Mariah in person, and I sadly doubt I ever will, I'll always have that moment in my dream. She loooed so beautiful.

Someone’s Ugly Daughter (111,639) by Dove from United States
I actually really like the idea of Olivia Rodrigo covering Someone's Ugly Daughter and releasing it with the original artwork. I think she's too famous now to cover an entire album but I would love it.

Meanings of songs (111,638) by Jamie from UK
Do we know which songs are about Taneka? Do we really know the true meaning of their split? I've read some articles about it being about wanting kids. Also I read an article in NY Times about him just costing Mariah too much as he wasn't bringing anything to the table. Some of the lyrics "bouncing off the walls", "withdrawals" lean more towards drug use, is this about him or Nick?

Sugar Sweet Solo Version (111,637) by Jamie from UK
Finally I got round to downloading my Mariah Shop version of HFIA with SW solo version on, mainly due to the fact my laptop I never use is slower than a snail. Wow much better with the Mariah second verse. This should have been the single for sure. I can’t stop listening to the album.

Let's not forget Daydream turned 30 on September 26th. I bet we might get a little something extra for Christmas.

Early numbers (111,635) by Tevin from USA
I spoke to my dad and some other family members who like Mariah's past stuff, but don't really follow her, I'd consider them regular GP listeners. Usually I have to fill everyone in on Mariah's new releases, but this time around they all have either downloaded, streamed or bought her album, and they like most if not all of the songs. I think Mariah and Gamma may have hit it out of the park with the GP and with the promo. We shall see.

New voice (111,633) by jaker20 from US
It's always been there, it just changed. I just saw her interview with Jennifer Hudson and she did her high note and it's as crisp as ever. She's saving it, she's taking care of it.

Decipher the ad lib in HFIA (111,632) by Bobby A from United States
It is probably Daniel talking to MC on the booth mic. Maybe the vocal was so good that they decided to leave the talking on there. Daydream Mariah would have done that line again.

Top 4 (111,631) by T from USA
HFIA could've been #3 this week if that gross AI Netflix movie didn't have a soundtrack. Funnily enough if Cardi just released a week after Mariah or or a week before she originally did then HFIA would've been #2 this week. Congrats on a top 4 finish none the less.

Decipher the ad lib in HFIA (111,630) by Lambi from USA
There are subtle talking noises after she sings "Someone said that that's tough". I'm hearing "Oh (pause) that's deep" (or oh, MC). It sounded like a guy's voice. What do you hear? Anybody else hearing it too?

I looks like Mariah is beating Doja, which was not on my 2025 bingo card. Keep streaming. I think Mariah can do 70k if we keep this up. I'm gagged. These are great numbers of Mimi.

Thanks for the link, smooth performance actually and she sounds much better than on the record. When she improvised and sang higher on the second chorus, I was pleasantly surprised, smooth clean sound. Whatever she's doing for her voice, it's working.

Someone's Ugly Daughter (111,627) by Edward from USA
Mariah is far from clueless, she knows exactly what she's doing. Do we really think Jimmy Fallon just happened to dig up an unreleased record and casually play it? Come on. That moment was clearly orchestrated. If it wasn't, you can bet Mariah would've quickly redirected the conversation back to "HFIA".

She comes across as calm, self-assured, and totally in control during that interview. The promo for "HFIA" has been strong, and let's not ignore the timing, the sudden reappearance of "Someone's Ugly Daughter" on SZA and Fallon interviews is no coincidence. Something is definitely up.

At this point, "HFIA" is already out, and no amount of extra promotion is going to drastically change its trajectory. The album speaks for itself, it's simply that good.

Let's just sit back and relax. Mariah's cooking something, and pretty soon, we're all gonna smell what's on the stove.

HFIA (111,626) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It will easily outlast "Caution". With HFIA Mariah's has created an album that really feels like the good old days. Music without too many producers, that doesn't need to sound current. It has a timeless sound except for "Mi" and "Confetti and Champagne" which get better and better too with each listen by the way. All songs blend so good together. Mariah surpassed herself with HFIA.

HFIA (111,625) by jaker20 from US
I've been addicted to the album. There is no skip to this album. HFIA is perfect, I can see why it's the album title. It's 6 and a half minutes yet it still feels short. The first 30 minutes of the song is a masterpiece, the cry in Mariah's voice it sounds like no one. Another great addition to Mariah's discography. I think this album will eventually outlast Caution.

Play That Song (111,624) by Jamie from UK
I wish they would release an actual digital single download of Play That Song with a B-side and some remixes. Doesn't seem like the last two singles have actually been singles as no separate digital download. I guess it's to draw more people to the album.

Hey Gamma (111,623) by Jamie from UK
Oh I thought it was a great balance between that and HFIA. It's just great to see her so relaxed and involved on the Jimmy Fallon interview. She looks great, she's confident, she's very much present and she's coming across fantastically. It's not the usual questions so I'm definitely here for it.

Hey Gamma (111,622) by BFF from United States
I agree. And it isn't even Mariah's voice on the recordings they have been playing. We all know that her friend Clarissa Dane recorded the vocals for the final version that Sony released in 1995. They are playing songs from an album that did get released that year but is out of print now. All of this was discussed five years ago when Mariah's book came out. Nothing new.

Hey Gamma (111,621) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Can you please make sure Mariah is talking about Here For It All the album that mad us wait for 7 years, and not talking about that grunge album that is not officially released and does not need airtime during her interviews. All I see on social media is her snippets talking about that grunge album on Jimmy Fallon and other interviews and not Here For It All. Let's focus on Here For It All and have it shine, that grunge album can have its spotlights when it's time to release.
