I agree. The thing is that some people here get triggered by anything, you can practically feel the bitterness through the screen. Nobody is trying to diagnose Mariah; people are just free to speculate. That whole "cancel anything I don't like" mentality was used as a weapon for way too long. Thankfully, we're finally moving away from that and some common sense is returning. Alzheimer's never even crossed my mind when it comes to Mariah, if anything, it seems more like it could be related to her bipolar meds.

It's clear when you listen to songs like "Dreamlover", "My all", "We belong together", "When Christmas comes" and the amazing "One Child", Mariah definitely has the best voice of all time. I know her voice is nowhere near what it used to be and you have Whitney Houston who was labeled The Voice. But Mariah will always have the best singing voice ever and no one today comes close. She's the last golden voice we will ever hear. No doubt Mariah has a place in God's singing choir and I can't even imagine what she would sound like in Heaven. I think Mariah will look like Daydream Mariah and her voice will be reanimated to the fullest extent. I love you Mariah.

Well, I have a masters degree in psychology and working as a mental health professional, we are not diagnosing Mariah, but the symptoms can be symptoms of early Alzheimer's. There are other wild speculations here about almost everything, her mental health have been talked about for years.

I agree, nobody should be diagnosing Mariah on this board without a doctor's degree in that field. Unfortunately, when you call them out on it they get upset and pull out the victim card. We got some serious professional victims here. Now that's a trend that's getting tiresome.

That's what I said, definitive sign just means definitive symptom. So what I'm saying is that's not even a symptom. Just a story you simply can't meticulously recall.

Fair though, honestly Whitney moments are as rare and significant as Celine and Aretha moments and boy does she remember those stories. I would've also safely assumed she somewhat has moments with Nippy kept solid in mind.

I don't think Mariah will get another #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 that's not All I Want For Christmas. As much as I'd like so see it happen, it's very unlikely. I don't mean to count her out. She's clearly very talented. But the problem is, in my humble opinion, she's not relatable at all. Some might even say she's not real. They know who she is, but they "don't know her". As much as she presents herself to be real, a lot of people are not buying it, and therefore not buying her records. Maybe she'll prove me wrong with another hit. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I didn't say she definitely had Alzheimer's though, that was not my final conclusion. I'm not even close to being a doctor. In my original post I said not sure if her stiffness/forgetfulness is because of menopause or heavy meds (of bipolar?) or maybe those were early signs of Alzheimer's, etc. Just some speculations. I hope Mariah gets better medical treatments and I wish for her to be healthy, live long and prosper. And after this Christmas, no more tours for a long long time.

You're correct. She did mention they had a whole police escort to get the dress delivered just in time. But I wouldn't take that as a definitive sign of Alzheimer's. It's actually really common in the industry for costumes to be finished at the very last minute, sometimes even seconds before a show. If you asked her about the 2005 AMA performance, she could easily confirm that her dress was being sewn right up until showtime, because she was just performing by herself.

But both hers and Whitney's dresses were both done by Vera Wang, so I can see why she might be mixing up which dress was late, because there's two of them that had to be styled.

Truthfully though, I think Mariah wanted to have the better cut of the dress so she possibly asked the designer to edit it last minute. Again, no basis on this but it's just something I totally see her doing.
